What is TESOL training?
TESOL training provides participants with the knowledge, skills and experience to be able to teach English to speakers of other languages, either in an ESL (English as a Second Language – usually taught in a native English speaking country) or EFL (English as a Foreign Language – generally taught in a non-native English speaking country) context.

Is the course accredited?
Our course 10773NAT (Certificate IV in TESOL) has been developed in consultation with the TESOL industry to ensure that it meets industry expectations. The course is accredited by the Australian government and is recognised worldwide. Qualifications are issued by Registered Training Organisations with the course on their Scope. Our Certificate IV in TESOL meets NEAS requirements ** (the Global Leader in Quality Assurance for the English Language Teaching Community).
** A TESOL qualification results from a program of study having all of the following characteristics:

- no less than 100 contact hours, or the equivalent in Distance Education programs, with a content focus on English language, language learning and TESOL teaching
- a practical component including at least six hours practice teaching in TESOL to actual students (not to classmates), supervised and assessed by a teacher who is qualified as per these requirements
- is a recognised qualification delivered by an education provider registered with government as being eligible to deliver nationally recognised qualifications.
